Interpretation

Interpretation is the verbal conversion of language (e.g. face to face, court hearings, arbitrations, trade shows, conferences, legal depositions, client meeting, 3-way teleconferences or video conferences, etc). Interpretative services are usually charged based upon the number of hours (or days) during which the interpreter is actively interpreting for the client. There are simultaneous and consecutive modes of interpretation.

Sight translation is the conversion of written words in one language into spoken words in another language. Sight translation is a form of interpretation.

A-List Communication selects the interpreter(s) for each assignment to ensure they have the commensurate background, experience and credentials to what the assignment needs to exceed the expectations of our clients. We work with only the best linguists in the industry.

A-List Communication offers wireless equipment to our customers for certain interpretation settings. The wireless equipment includes a transmitter for the interpreter, and receivers and headsets for the listeners.
