Let Our Language Specialists Help You Communicate More Effectively

About the Company

Clear communication is the foundation of every successful business. When engaging with clients, partners, colleagues, or the public across language barriers, precision and clarity aren’t optional—they’re essential. Expert translation ensures that every detail is conveyed accurately, keeping all parties fully aligned in business transactions, legal matters, and collaborative projects, regardless of the languages involved.

A-List Communication serves Fortune 500 companies, small and mid-sized businesses, and legal professionals who demand precision in interpretation, translation, and transcription. We specialize in certified translations and deliver expertise across 70+ languages—from widely spoken languages like Chinese and Spanish to less common ones such as Tamil, Igbo, and Hmong. Every project is handled with bespoke client care and meticulous attention to detail—setting a standard you won’t find elsewhere.

About Our Projects

Each year, A-List Communication plays a vital role in the judicial system, delivering certified multilingual transcription and translation of discovery materials, as well as interpretation services for legal proceedings. We support attorneys, law firms, government agencies, and litigants throughout Northern California and beyond.

Our Annual Project Highlights:

In 2025, the A-List team interpreted for Johnson & Johnson during its audit by the National Medical Products Administration (NMPA), a regulatory body in China, of its manufacturing process; interpreted for the directors between Asian Art Museum and a Chinese museum during discussions regarding future exhibits, fellowship, cultural exchanges and related agreements; interpreted and translated for Arevon during outreach of the energy storage facility to support local energy reliability and maximize the use of clean, renewable energy sources.

Between 2024 and 2025, A-List assisted a property development group in multi-year complex negotiations between the City of Richmond, City Council and City Attorney of Richmond about the development of a critically positioned waterfront property in the City of Richmond. The Mandarin interpreting and facilitation services enabled the investors to navigate through the complex legal, political, social and financial waters of the project.

In 2024, A-List provided interpreting services for ByteDance (parent company of TikTok) during legal proceedings including depositions, mediations and federal trials; for the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) during investigation on international criminal activities of several large gang syndicates, and for executives of one of the world’s top cryptocurrency exchanges in the face of a Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) inquiry. Our team also interpreted for many local grassroot advocacy organizations such as Urban Strategies Council and TransForm to address housing and transit needs, poverty and immigration issues.

Between 2023 and 2025, A-List support inclusive, science-based conservation by providing Santa Clara Open Space Authority (OSA) multilingual interpreting and translation services for the multi-year planning and deployment of the 1,500-acre Coyote Valley — a critical resource for wildlife, climate resilience, and public access.

In 2022, A-List was chosen to provide translation, transcription and interpretation services for the first Chinese couturier Guo Pei during her first major exhibit and other related events such as the Virtual Wednesdays and On the Edge Night events at the Legion of Honor in San Francisco, CA.

In 2021, A-List joined forces with Crossings TV, WADOH (Washington Department of Health), CDPH (California Department of Public Health) and UC Davis Health on California’s COVID-19 vaccine efforts by reporting on vaccine related stats and hosting Q&A sessions for the various Chinese speaking communities in the U.S.   In the same year, A-List translated the Environmental Impact Report, a proposal on City of San Francisco Housing Plan 2023-2031 in both the audio and visual presentation. This proposal was adopted in 2022 by San Francisco resulting in funding of $117 million to build 82,000 affordable housing units in the city from 2022 to 2030.  A-List also translated and trans-created various collateral materials for Deaf and Disabled Telecommunications Program (DDTP) to satisfy the need of their large multilingual subscriber base to learn the latest smart phone technology.

In 2020, A-List prepared educational materials about COVID-19 for California Department of Public Health (CDPH) who worked closely with CDC in 20 languages.  We also translated large-volume PG&E bankruptcy order documents expeditiously to allow the timely vote of the Spanish-speaking fire victims on the bankruptcy plan.

From 2013 to 2020, A-List translated quarterly reports and other pertinent documents in many global languages for Tetra Tech DPK to promote access, transparency and efficiency of judicial systems in developing countries.

In 2018 and 2019, A-List assisted City of Santa Clara in disseminating a new ordinance regarding massage establishments and the communications surrounding the regulations to the ethnic communities at issue. A-List provided translation services in Apple’s corporate espionage matter, and interpreting services for the defendant in the Millennium Tower (San Francisco) matter.

In 2017, A-List translated shopping guides to increase awareness of health foods and choices for low income residents in San Francisco, translated quit smoking campaigns for Department of Public Health, and interpreted for Senator Ted Cruz during a convention in San Francisco.  A-List provided both interpreting and translation services for the defense during the investigation and the U.S. Attorneys during the trial on federal grand jury cases such as the matter on the economic espionage and trade secret theft of DuPont’s know-how. A-List also provided interpretation services on the “Ghost Ship” fire case in Oakland, CA.

In 2015 and 2016, A-List worked closely with various San Francisco Bay Area cities to prepare a multi-lingual communication roll-out to workers and the general public for the new minimum wage labor law standard. A-List provided interpreting services for the defense and for the FBI/U.S. Attorney on a matter in violation of economic sanctions under IEEPA, and violation of international trade embargo under Executive Orders. A-List was the go-to contracted translation/interpreting services for the SEC in the Bay Area.
